Meet ACC’s Fall 2023 Ambassadors

Discover our exceptional cohort of young people driving change this season at the American Conservation Coalition.

Morgan Bailey was born and raised in upstate South Carolina and spent a few years in Mississippi. “I was always a kid who was outdoors and traveling with my parents; this instilled a love of my environment wherever I went. My mom is from a family of farmers and while I only helped when we visited I still grew up with immense respect for the land and farmers. Being an Ambassador helps me to spread my love of ACC and common-sense environmentalism as it is something I've grown passionate about over the years since it combines my love of the environment I live in and wanting to protect it for years to come.”

Mike Coletti is an Ambassador in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, and Virginia for those outside the beltway). “Coming in with a passion for market-based approaches to large issues, ACC was clearly the place to be!  Throughout the past year and a quarter, I have worn multiple hats in the community to spread awareness that feasible and sensible solutions to climate change do exist.”

Dominic Federico is an ambassador in Clemson, SC. “I started with the ACC in St. Louis and wanted to continue working here in college. Now, I'm helping to restart the Clemson branch and spreading the word at the best school in the ACC.”

Brendan Fowler is a fourth-year Biochemistry and Accounting Student at Ohio State University with a keen interest in carbon capture utilization. “My drive is centred around entrepreneurial solutions that are related to environmentalism and deeply rooted in business and science. Passionate about nature's intricate cycles, I advocate for common-sense environmental strategies. As an ACC Community Ambassador, I guide peers towards impactful opportunities, building a community movement both on campus and throughout my city.”

Daniel Frindt is currently in his fourth year at The Ohio State University, pursuing a degree in Operations Management. “I am proud to say that this is my second year serving as an ambassador for ACC on our campus. My enduring passion for environmental conservation was ignited by my favorite high school teacher's teachings on environmental sciences, driving my commitment to making a positive impact on our planet and the welfare of all the people and animals on it.”

La’Vonte Xavier Holt is a Texas ambassador. My dedication to the environment comes from my desire to plant a tree. I wanted this year to be a year of giving back, and it started this journey within the environment. I was able to plant my tree and am thrilled that I was able to complete my mission. It is a green for green tree planting machine.”

Rachel Howard is the Chair of the National Federation of College Republicans. She is passionate about supporting policy that promotes domestic job growth in the energy sector and advancing solutions that promote the environment and economy. Rachel double majored in Economics and Business Management at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She currently attends McNeese State University where she is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration.

Will Keene is one of two ambassadors for the Virginia Tech Branch. “My strong affinity for the outdoors has lead me to this position with ACC. I'm a true outdoorsman and mountain man at heart with a big passion for gravity mountain biking. As I travel across this great country seeing the beautiful landscapes, it only drives me to protect our environment more. I would want my future generations to be able to prosper and also enjoy the same outdoors that I do today. Sustainability and conservation are two of my biggest core values.”

“My name is Katie Moll and I’m currently a freshman studying international business at Trevecca Nazarene University. My passion for ACC comes from my enjoyment of hiking and being in nature. As a Nashville Ambassador I travel to different college campuses to recruit members and help start campus branches.”

Joann Nguyen is an ACC Community Ambassador based in Houston, Texas. “I am dedicated to advocating for property rights, supporting the agricultural industry, and striving for cleaner water, air, and land for future generations. Taking local action to safeguard our recreational rights to lands and parks is also a priority for me. Outside of that, I enjoy going on silent, secluded getaway retreats deep in nature, away from the city, with good company.”

James Normile is a senior at Miami University studying Zoology and Environmental Science. “I am the president of the ACC Miami OH branch which has just started this August. ACC has allowed me to find a place where my environmental ideas can be expressed without judgment, which I do feel at other organizations. My background living on a farm formed some nonpolarized ideas about the environment that are not really found around the campus of Miami University.”

Brett Patrick is a Binghamton University freshman pursuing a political science BA. As a lifelong resident of Long Island, conservation and water are integral parts of everyday life. Brett has served as an ACC Branch Leader of Long Island since 2021 and joined the Ambassador Program in the summer of 2023. He seeks to bring his passion for conservative environmentalism to Upstate New York and the Southern Tier region.

Philip Reichert is a conservative writer and activist. He is the editor of The Redoubt, is a veteran of U.S. Army Intelligence, and has worked as a consultant for the U.S. Space Force and as a producer at Fox News. He believes that the environment is America's most precious resource and is compelled by ACC's mission to foster the Conservative environmental movement.

Being born and raised in the tall southern pines of Arkansas, Jordan Rivera has always had an inner appreciation for nature! He has been involved in politics and civic engagement for roughly 10 years. “I never really used my platform to advocate for environmental policies until after attending the first annual American Conservation Coalition Summit in D.C. last year. After the conference, it made me realize I can not stand on the sidelines of this very important issue. And that is what motivated me to become an Amabassdor for the ACC empowering students here locally to advocate for commonsense environmental polices.”

Jeb Veeck is a senior at Western Kentucky University majoring in Political Science with a minor in Sales. He joined ACC because of how they stand up for sportsmen and their rights but because of the common- sense idea from a Republican viewpoint and ACC is not your everyday climate change group.

Kate Wexell is serving as an ambassador in San Francisco, having previously been the Mizzou ACC Branch Leader and a Missouri ambassador. She is the founder and executive director of The Compass Online 501(c)(3), a US Department of State Green Leaders Fellow, LCOY USA 2023 delegate in anticipation of COP-28, and she served as the Theme Partner in the G20 India Changemaker20 Summit.
